What is the difference between a credit union and a bank?

Credit unions are not-for-profit cooperatives owned by members, not shareholders. That means earnings go back to you through better rates, fewer fees, and personalized service.

How can I pay my The Credit Union for All car payment with funds from another financial institution?

You can mail a payment from your other financial institution or complete the ACH Origination Form to authorize us to debit your account directly. Other convenient options, with a small fee, include submitting a transfer request through Online Banking or calling us to make a payment over the phone.

How do I apply for an auto/vehicle loan?

You can apply online using our Vehicle Loan form or visit us for assistance. Pre-approvals are quick, and we’ll help you find a payment that fits your budget.

Can I get a Debit/ATM card today?

Yes! The Credit Union for All proudly offers instant-issue debit cards at our office on Eastland Drive. Prefer mail instead? We can send your card directly to you. Have you checked out our Debit by Design options? Choose from a wide variety of unique card designs to match your style. 

How do I wire money to someone?

To send a wire transfer, contact the recipient’s financial institution to get their specific incoming wire instructions. Then, reach out to The Credit Union for All to complete an outgoing wire form. Please note, a fee may apply for outgoing wire transfers.

Is there a minimum checking account requirement?

We offer several checking account options, including no-minimum-balance accounts! Minimum balances vary by account.

How can I become a member?

It’s easy to join! Simply complete the New Member Account application online or visit us in person. Anyone who lives or works in McLean County is welcome to join The Credit Union for All. If you’re outside the county, you can become a member through a family connection with an existing member. Don’t meet either of those? You can still join by contributing a $1 donation to the Mid-Illinois Dollars for Scholars Foundation, which helps provide scholarships to local high school students. Membership simply requires maintaining a $5 balance in your savings account and presenting a valid ID.
