How can I become a member?
Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in McLean County! If you do not live or work in McLean County, you can join if one of your relatives is a The Credit Union For All member. If neither of these conditions applies, you may join by making a $1 donation to our Mid-Illinois Dollars for Scholars Foundation which funds scholarships for high school students who attend school in McLean County. Credit union membership requires you to maintain a $5 balance in your savings account, and a valid ID.
Is there a minimum checking account requirement?
The Credit Union for All offers multiple checking account options, including checking accounts that do not require a minimum balance! The minimum checking account requirement varies depending on the checking account type you choose. More information about our checking accounts can be found here.
How do I wire money to someone?
To wire money to someone, you or the recipient of the wire will need to contact the receiving financial institution to request their specific incoming wire instructions. Contact The Credit Union for All to complete the outgoing wire form. A fee will apply for most outgoing wires.
Can I get a Debit/ATM card today?
Yes! The Credit Union for All is proud to offer our members 'immediate issue' on their debit cards at our Eastland Drive branch. They can also be mailed, if that's best for you. How do I apply for an auto/vehicle loan?
You can complete an application at the credit union, or you can apply online by clicking here. In addition, we will need the details about the auto/vehicle you are purchasing.
How can I pay my The Credit Union for All car payment with funds from another financial institution?
You can mail a payment from the other financial institution or complete a The Credit Union For All ACH Origination Form which gives us permission to debit your account. Other options that include a minimal fee is a transfer request via The Credit Union for All's Online Banking site or call The Credit Union for All to make a telephone payment request.
Do you provide notary service?
The Credit Union for All is pleased to offer free notary services to our members, and we offer notary services to nonmembers for a nominal fee per stamp.
What is the difference between a credit union and a bank?
A credit union is a member-owned not-for-profit financial cooperative with a volunteer Board of Directors, and earnings are paid back to the members. Banks are for-profit corporations owned by investors, and profits paid to stockholders.
